I've started work on a new project which uses a process called V-A Synthesis which interprets and reinterprets visual data input, in this case the paintings of Aotearoa New Zealand artist Colin McCahon as sound art and music. Pictured above is McCahon's 1971 acrylic on canvas work: "The days and nights in the wilderness, showing the constant flow of light passing into a dark landscape," and his 1972 watercolour on paper work "Light falling through a dark landscape (A)".
